WinTax is offered as a ready-made package, and is not customisable.

Nevertheless, WinTax is not a static product and after any changes in the Tax Law/Regulations our I.T. Division will undertake immediately changes in the software and provide you with the latest updates!

The WinTax support team is committed to update the system annually in order to keep it in line with Cyprus tax laws.

The current version of WinTax is 8.0, and prints ready for submission to the Income Tax Authorities, I.R. 1 forms from 1995 to 2002.

Transferring a license

Sometimes you may need to re-install WinTax on a new computer or change it's location on the same computer. Whichever happens you will need a new Site Key in order to run WinTax. In order to avoid software piracy WinTax now implements a new technology whereby you can transfer your existing license to your new installation. This will deauthorise your old installation.

In order to transfer your license follow these steps:

1. Install WinTax to the new computer or location.

2. Run WinTax. The Authorisation form is displayed. Ignore the new license procedure and click on the Transfer Lic. button.

3. Transfer License form is now displayed. Insert a floppy disk into the disk drive and click on Reg. Transfer. This will transfer your registration number to the floppy disk. Quit WinTax.

4. Run your licensed copy of WinTax. Insert the floppy disk used above in the disk drive.

5. Select Help|Transfer License from the main menu. This will display the Transfer License form.

6. Click on the Transfer Out button to transfer the license to the floppy disk. This copy of WinTax is now unauthorised.

7. Repeat step 2. On the displayed Transfer License form click on the Transfer In button. WinTax is now authorised.WinTax is offered as a ready-made package, and is not customisable.
